| UPDATE: I recently moved to Bozeman, Montana so am not as easily accessible. I still have many connections in Walla Walla and will be coming back from time to time. If you would be interested in having me do a concert/event I would be more than happy to arrange something with you.
Though I am out of town I am still with the band Agua Agua. I also do solo performances and events, including weddings and funerals. I play the Spanish bagpipe (traditionally called a "gaita"). It is different from the Great Highland bagpipe in a number of ways. The gaita is not as loud, has a 2 octave range, and has 1-2 drones (I have one drone). The gaita also allows for slides and vibrato so the sound is able to have more depth and variation. It can be beautifully haunting or lively and fun. I also play the tin whistle, a traditional Irish/Scottish instrument with a beautiful sound. Overall I just love playing and always have a good time.
